Reliability Engineer (working at Ha Nam factory)

Overview

Cooperate with engineering team to identify and eliminate as many potential losses at the design stage. Stable machine cycle time increasing mean time between failure (MTBF)• Integrate the new equipment into existing lines. Deterioration is easily measured and corrected. Routine maintenance tasks are easy to perform and carried out by internal personnel. Short MTTR.• Develop and refine Preventive Maintenance and condition monitoring routines for new equipment. Advise technical training needed for maintenance technicians • Define costs and value drivers to support life cycle cost reduction and maximize return on capital invested

Responsibilities

1. Business Results • Maximize Technical Availability and Asset Reliability across all production lines by effectively leading, promoting and introducing analytical problem solving techniques to maximize the overall asset effectiveness. • Lead the site Asset Reliability program. Own and develop the site Analytical Problem Solving, (APS) Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, be the “gatekeeper” for effective closure ensuring all relevant improvements are coordinated via appropriate teams.• Manage the Condition Monitoring & Lubrication program on route to “zero (planned) maintenance time concept” – this will drive an increase in technical availability

2. Project:• Undertake a comprehensive Con Mon/lube skills “gap analysis” to help develop technical training• Engage with operational sites and field M&R teams to discuss current capabilities and develop tactical game plan • Internal Contacts – Maintenance Support Department (All), Manufacturing Technicians (Including Asset Care), Operations Managers, Finance - MOH/Direct cost techs

Qualifications

1. Qualifications• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical / Mechanical or related engineering fields• Excellent problem solving skills. Prepared to challenge assumptions.• Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems through qualifications and/or experience • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, performance management, decisive thought leader with excellent managerial skill• Ability to work in a constantly changing dynamic and challenging environment 2. Experience• Strong experience at least 5 years experience in programming PLCs and microprocessor-based control equipment for major projects.• Previous experience of condition monitoring & lubrication systems• Deep awareness of modern Maintenance techniques and best practice implementation (TPM, Operator asset care, 5S, RCA, RCM)• Good knowledge of process and packaging technology• Fluently in English communication (writing, reading and speaking)
