1. Lead a team and manage all aspects of engineering and maintenance in foods manufacturing site. 2. This role will ensure plant reliability and continuous improvement by setting the direction and strategy for maintenance, ensuring equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in compliance with all norms and regulations. 3. Set the capital plan for the facility, organize reviews, manage all aspects of projects.
Responsibilities1. Maintenance activities • Develop and regularly revise maintenance programs, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) processes, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), CBM = Condition Base Maintenance, Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) to ensure: • Machine and equipment are in good operation condition, reliability, and availability (in plant plus cool storage); in highest efficiency as designed and satisfy Foods safety standard (GMP and AIB). • Unscheduled downtime controlled as AOP.
• Machine and equipment being maintained and operated in safety complying with the company standards (MESS)• Oversee to ensure these programs being implemented and comply with SOPs, policy.• Plan, lead implementation and cooperate with the procurement team & Maintenance team to ensure spare parts are always in place for maintenance activities within approved budget to avoid idle machines due to lack of parts, while complying with procurement SOPs.• Contact, work with service providers and contractors for relevant maintenance activities.• Build proper maintenance program to achieve Maintenance KPIs (BD rate, MTTR, MTBF, Maintenance cost…)• Work with cross Function such as Operation/Quality/EHS/Warehouse…to provide maintenance service & improvement for Plant operation to deliver Plant KPIs.• Maintain & improve Plant condition as Food Factory requirement & standard.• Lead the development and management of AOP and SDD Sustainability to support the delivery of Pep+ goals ensuring all sustainability KPIs meeting plan.
2. Budget control and Reports: • Develop AOP repair and maintenance (R&M) budgets and control the expenditure. • Develop and implement AOP Capex budget related to maintenance activities.• Manage spare part & inventory warehouse to ensure spare part in place & low inventory cost.• Cooperate with Department as Finance/Procurement…to build spare part management strategy.• Tracks, reports and analyzes to improves key maintenance parameters/KPIs (unscheduled downtime, R&M cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, Utility energy consumption, monthly Department scorecard, CAPEX spending...)
3. Organization capability and people management: • Conducts regular “Check-in” conversations and Performance Development Discussions with E&M employees to support them in achieving their personal objectives and E&M team performance.• Develop mandatory work instructions, layout in E&M workshop/ spare parts warehouse and ensure all E&M employees got trains prior to acting with equipment and facilities.• Maximizes the effectiveness of E&M employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.• Monitor team activity following processes, system, and guideline such as I2C, GMP, AIB, 5S, ISO…. for all group of employees who are working in the plant (PI, Non PI, contractor) • Monitor staff turnover and liaise with HR department on actions to solve the problem. • Coach, develop, and grow direct reports, build a strong culture of quality, handle conflicts well and help build consensus.
4. Projects & Copacker deployment: • Lead the development and implementation of IndoChina Foods Engineering AOP, strategic plan, and CAPEX to support the business requirements (growth, innovation, productivity, and sustainability agenda)• Develop and manage site engineering operating and capital budget with inputs from key stakeholders and effectively control the spending of the budget allocated• Support and advise engineering aspect during deploying projects (CAPEX, OPEX). • Support and advise engineering aspect to build footprint for SBP. • Support and advise engineering aspect and CAPEX deployment for copacker.
Qualifications• 10+ years experiences in engineering Management at manufacturing• 5+ years’ experience in managing large capital projects.• 5+ years’ experience & Expert in managing Maintenance team.• Working knowledge of maintenance and reliability.• Proven project manager. Able to handle all aspects of a project, whether on own or working with engineering firms and vendors.• Strong troubleshooting skills.• Able to handle multi-task.• Good in English communication and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD).• Good in negotiation, analytical, problem solving.• Result-oriented and work under high pressure. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with good oral and written communication skills.
