Overview

This is a strategic and dynamic role that is positioned to drive effectiveness, creating value through centralized data partner management and data acquisition, with close collaboration across commercial, procurement, legal, compliance, information technology, governance, and more (navigating account teams through to contract and incorporation planning).

The Data Partnerships associate, AdTech & Media, will be a key player on the Global Data Partnerships team. This role will develop and leverage/manage strategic data partnerships, data acquisition, data asset optimization, data acquisition efficiencies, and innovative solutions to drive business value, speed, and impact.

Moreover, this person will support building capabilities and best practices in data acquisition and data partner management by bringing together a deep understanding of AdTech and media.

This role will manage a subset of commercial data partnerships and internal customers across the organization.

Responsibilities

Help support building a Global Partnerships Center:

  • Manage an assigned group of existing data partnerships.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new data partnerships, assets, and tools.
  • Optimize partner asset mix to produce best-in-class solutions.

Support building the Global Data Acquisition Strategy & Governance:

  • Determine if existing data partnerships meet the needs of the commercial organization.
  • Proactively research and understand the global landscape and identify new data opportunities.
  • Ensure existing data partnerships are delivering quality data on time and without issues.
  • Ability to partner with business and subject matter experts to ensure standardization and execution of enterprise-wide policies and procedures.

Help Implement Strategy & Drive Customer Satisfaction:

  • Support the Strategy & Transformation Product Portfolio created out of existing or purposely acquired data that can be used to improve decision-making and intelligent action by consumers, the enterprise, or other organizations.
  • Support ensuring the data partner offers a satisfying service to the business promptly and proactively helps our business partners choose the most effective and valuable external data products.

Optimize Data Acquisition:

  • Ability to interpret business requirements into optimized data and tool solutions.
  • Ability to think beyond the current state, working towards an unconstrained, optimized partnership.
  • Ability to work with/align various stakeholders to a common set of standards and to sell the benefits.
  • Help manage and optimize the respective relationships/contracts with our current and emerging vendors, including third-party agreements, data sharing, and contracts.
  • Help identify and raise redundancies in data acquisitions and redundancies in resources who are involved in this activity.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,400 - $127,850.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting the actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sickness, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years experience managing data partnerships in the AdTech, Media, Consumer, or similar space.
  • Minimum 4 years of data management experience (business development, data automation, data governance).
  • Commercial, legal, and regulatory basic knowledge concerning data acquisition and usage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience:

  • Build strategic relationships with partners, leading to valuable business outcomes.
  • Understanding of the Media and AdTech ecosystem.
  • Understanding of various types of external data, including transaction data, consumer/household panels, traditional consumer demographic data, ID types, and more.
  • Exposure to risk assessment and legal reviews of vendor contracts and licensing agreements related to external data.
  • Demonstrated analytics skills and use of multiple software tools.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical elements in simple terminology.
