What you’ll be working on:

In this role you will report to the Quality & Food Safety department where you will be involved in supporting multiple quality and food safety related initiatives throughout the site. You will lead a small team of hourly employees to develop their capability and drive results.

Specifically, the QFS Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preventive control ownership on shift
  • Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational problems
  • Ensure a safe work environment for our teams
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory food safety standards
  • Facilitate the implementation and compliance of policies and programs as they pertain to quality & food safety
  • Facilitate training and capability development on shift
Qualifications

Who’s a good fit for the team:

  • Graduated with a relevant degree or post-secondary designation
  • Strong interest in quality & food safety
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ideal candidates will have the willingness and flexibility to perform tasks as needed in support of the team’s business needs. Primary duties may change as Food Safety requirements change.
