ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity:
The ETS Global Test Manager will be the main lead for a group of Test Managers that will participate with different project teams, and will guide them through the different testing activities, deliverables, and overall governance for their projects, enabling them to create the right test strategy and deploy a successful quality product.
The role will act as a SME for other Test Managers assigned to projects, sharing best practices, standards, and guidelines to follow, and conducting the onboarding process for new Test Managers.
This role will be responsible for the Test Management Capability and the best practices of it, training and mentoring other team members from ETS, and directing other test managers to properly and successfully define the appropriate test strategy for each project.
The ETS Global Test Manager will also manage and control the financial spend for NA and LATAM (SOWs, cross-charges, Work orders, blankets) as well as income accounting from Governance charges to projects and track productivity metrics for ETS to ensure best cost/benefit from Champion rates.
Your Impact:
As Enterprise Solutions Assoc Manager your functions would consist of
• Manage the pool of Test Managers across the NA and LATAM out of Mexico Hub• Global responsibility over Test Management Capability and Best Practices• Lead development an enhanced governance approach for various project types and implement controls and tracking• Manage Test Managers and ETS Members on TM Capabilities, guidelines, standards, and best practices• Manage and Lead Test Managers during issue/risk identification and resolution during any stage of the project and serve as an ETS internal point of escalation• Track productivity metrics for ETS to ensure best cost/benefit from Champ rates• Manage, Lead and Partner with Test Managers and project team on the definition of the Testing Strategy• Demand Management and Engagement for projects, including dashboard compliance validation • Provide Governance and support for testing deliverables and activities for ongoing projects• Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are properly identified, documented, and matched against test matrix for each project• Steer and guide the teams on the identification of the different types of testing required for the project for optimum test coverage• Actively handle Test Managers to gain knowledge on Project requirements through functional documentation and project sessions to better advise the team on Test Scenarios definition and design• Direct and support Test Managers during the Test Plan definition for testing scope and execution, and ensure alignment with project team and timeline• Address Test Managers on the validation for testing readiness until entry criteria is met to start execution (devices, data, environment readiness, roles, etc.)• Guarantee testing deliverables are being produced on plan and according to project phase and with the expected quality• Approve testing deliverables for projects once quality standard is met (MTS, Test Plans, PLM Light, Test Summary Reports, etc.) and create different templates for different types of projects• Prepare internal status reports based on Project testing execution and governance compliance to be communicated to leadership • Develop standards and oversee testing communication plans, reporting standardsOther activities to be performed related to the ETS organization include:• Manage and control financial spend for NA and LATAM (SOWs, cross-charges, Work orders, blankets) as well as income accounting from Governance charges to projects• Provide prompt feedback on dashboard enhancement and proposal of new or updated dashboards/metrics• Regulate Governance processes and propose redefinitions or improvements to it
QualificationsWho Are We Looking For?
Experience
- 5 - 8 years of Test Management experience with expertise on different project implementations and technologies
- Experience in Azure DevOps is a MUST.
- Experience in Jira.
- Advanced English
SAFe (or noteworthy alternative) Scrum Master certification
- Proficient understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
