Overview

Job Title: Associate Design Manager

Employer: Pepsi-Cola Advertising and Marketing, Inc.

Location: 350 Hudson St. 2nd Fl, New York, NY 10014

Responsibilities

Duties: Partner across disciplines within PepsiCo and external suppliers to ensure development and delivery of design assets; Inform and align stakeholders throughout the creative process; Work collaboratively with design leaders across brand, product, packaging, equipment, marketing, and advertising; Generate creative design proposals; Help drive final design recommendations, decisions, and design approvals; Effectively translate customer needs into actionable design strategies; Develop brand identity, packaging, and portfolio systems, 360 brand campaigns, social media strategy, and immersive brand activations.

*Telecommuting permitted 30%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo office in New York, NY.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Graphic Design or Packaging Design and five (5) years of experience in offered or related roles OR a Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Graphic Design or Packaging Design and two (2) years of experience in offered or related roles. Must have five (5) years of experience (or 2 with Master’s) with the following: Knowledge in Graphic Design; expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite program; sketching & idea development techniques; researching complex subjects; and foundational photography skills. Must have two (2) years of experience with the following: Design Project Management; and Focus in 360 Branding identities.

*10% domestic and international travel required within North America.

Salary: $96,554 - $125,000 / year
