The Brand Manager Nuts and Seeds BNL works together with the Senior Brand Manager Nuts & Seeds BNL and reports into the Sr Marketing Manager Other Savoury & Grains NE. You will be responsible for the development of the short- & mid-term brand strategy, business performance, execution of the marketing plan of Duyvis with a clear focus to accelerate growth. NL is Create market for Duyvis, with communication and innovation development managed within BU for end-to-end management.In this role you are responsible for identifying growth opportunities based on consumer and market insights and translating these into a marketing strategy for Duyvis BNL. This includes the ‘end-to-end’ development of new products (in collaboration with R&D and production) and communication/activation support to realize targets on Business Unit level and future growth of the brand within the cross-functional growth platforms from PepsiCo.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing Plan (AOP)
- Development of brand strategy and yearly action plan for Nuts (Duyvis) within BNL, via close cross-functional collaboration.
- Delivery of annual business objectives (Net Revenue, Share of Market, and Profit), by excellent execution of holistic multi-market calendar initiatives.
- Successfully support New Product Development to achieve sustainable in-market results and accelerating portfolio performance.
- Tracking brand performance (Brand Mind Share, Household Penetration, NPD, business) and course correct when needed.
Innovation Development:
- End-to-end innovation development within Nuts & Seeds, including ideation, concept development, briefing / follow-up for creation of product and associated packaging (format & design).
- Ultimately responsible for project management of NPDs according to PepsiCo gate process (Accolade) in close coordination with Commercialization / Legal / Regulatory / Packaging / R&D / Finance and creative agencies.
- Sharing relevant input within the broader commercial team (Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Sales).
- Responsible for realization of all these initiatives within the intended timing and quality requirements.
Brand Growth Strategy
- Identify (future) consumer needs / portfolio gaps in consultation with Consumer Insights and R&D, to develop an innovation strategy that fits within the total brand strategy of Duyvis (incl. Planet+).
- Responsible for the innovation funnel and coordination with key stakeholders within the cross-functional team.
- Responsible for the long-term innovation calendar and development of new products for Duyvis.
Communication Plan
- Locally lead media and support plans, including Duyvis end-to-end campaign development and media planning via creative agencies.
- Ensures all branded assets, including pack designs, are optimized and locally relevant within broader Snacks portfolio strategy.
Functional Responsibilities
- Budget accountability, responsible for budget management and reporting (working closely with Finance / GBS).
- Working with local (creative) agency teams on campaign development and pack design amongst others.
- Embrace holistic thinking, developing an optimal cooperation and integration of the Duyvis plans within the total Snacks Marketing, Shopper Marketing and Category Management teams across BNL.
- Establish and maintain a network with Benenuts/Twinuts (France), That’s Nuts (UK), and global Nuts & Seeds clusters, to exchange knowledge and create synergy between the different countries.
