- Salary Range: $76,400 - $127,850 (commensurate with skills, experience & location)
- Annual Bonus: Target payout of 8% based on performance

As the Food Safety Manager at PepsiCo, you'll play a critical role in protecting both our consumers and our brand. You'll lead food safety and compliance efforts across all shifts, build a culture of GMP excellence, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive long-term improvements.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
- Own the plant’s food safety program, ensuring full compliance with FSMA, GMP, and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional Food Safety and Food Defense Teams, and serve as the point person for FSSC 22000, AIB, QAS, and other audits
- Drive continuous improvement, partnering with production, quality, and maintenance to implement sustainable food safety practices
- Train frontline leaders and hourly associates on sanitation, food safety, and internal policies
- Lead plant GMP walks, conduct root cause analyses, and implement countermeasures
- Interpret analytical data and process metrics, using insights to recommend and drive improvements
- Support policy implementation, and lead projects that enhance safety, sanitation, and overall food safety outcomes
- Be a hands-on leader with visibility across all shifts and functions
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (FDA, FSMA, GMP, AIB)
- Familiarity with GFSI schemes such as FSSC 22000, BRC, etc.
- Experience in continuous improvement and food safety program implementation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is a plus
- Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator with the ability to coach others
- Must be able to lead change, drive performance, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

- Regular presence on the plant floor
- Occasional off-shift, weekend, or holiday work based on business needs
- Some travel (less than 5%) may be required
