ResponsibilitiesThe Opportunity
A R&D Analyst will assist the Foods Project Governance teams primarily located in the central time zones in the US. This role will ensure exceptional service is provided in support of R&D Foods Project Governance and may work with innovation, productivity, technical brand stewardship, culinary teams, etc. Project Governance areas also include nutrition/life sciences support and Business Proposal Alignment Council (BPAC). This role will be facilitating technical stage gate connects ensuring projects have met the specified stage gate requirements. They will take detail notes and ensure they are recorded back into the system. This role may also support training and help input data depending on the way of working defined for each team.
Your Impact
As R&D Analyst your functions would consist of:
- Learn, understand, and be able to train R&D food associates to track and document projects.
- Create training materials related to application enhancements and improved understanding of the system and ways of working.
- Obtain alignment on Business Proposals for the Business Proposal Alignment Council (BPAC) so that proposals may be approved or rejected.
- Lead office-hour connects answering user questions as related to data entry, ways of working, and system functionality.
- Test system enhancements as implemented by the global governance team.
- Track compliance and create annual reports showing metrics on project deliverables being completed prior to global governance requirements.
- Work with current teams using the system to find solutions to track specific information as identified.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree: Business, Data analytics, Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Fluent in English
- 6 months - 2 years of experience in R&D (understanding of Food Safety, Microbiology and Regulatory Affairs)
- Ability to interpret technical information, escalate issues and seek alignment towards workable solutions
- Exceptional data organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
