To ensure that maintenance is executed on the electrical & instrumentation equipments in a manner that will bench mark the reliability and availability of the plant to the best in the industry.
Responsibilities- The total execution of maintenance plan for E&I on the Sundar plant Packaging & related utilities
- Set up & implement the master E&I maintenance plan in conjunction with maintenance schedules to maintain the plant with-in given engineering standards.
- Define SOP’s for the implementation of calibration and safety plans for all E&I equipments installed on the plant.
- Set up a critical spares program to ensure E&I spares availability for the complete plant.
- Liaise with Maintenance Manager in planning & implementing the maintenance plans.
- Support Maintenance Manager in implementing AIB standards in E&I function.
- Identify opportunities and encourage E&I technicians to improve production processes in conjunction with production personnel to drive down costs.
- Manage E&I technicians i.e. Discipline, Personal Protective Equipment, leave planning and utilization of staff.
- The total management of administration issues: Timesheets, following procedures, implementing & using maintenance software, safety inspections and OHS policies.
- Diploma of Associate Engineer in Electronics or Instrumentation with an experience of 10-12 years in a multitasking environment, working experience in FMCG
- B-Tech in Electronics or Instrumentation with an experience of 8-10 years in a multitasking environment, working experience in FMCG
- BE in Electronics or Instrumentation with an experience of 3-5 years in a multitasking environment, working experience in FMCG
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software, should be skilled in writing.
