 We are looking for an Operational Purchasing Buyer (Snacks) to join our Global Procurement team based in Istanbul and will directly report to Tactical Buying Leader.

Operational Purchasing Buyer (Snacks) has as main objective to: Execution of the spot & tactical buying process that includes supplier selection, negotiation with suppliers, reporting of savings and to enable the delivery of productivity through understanding of Snacks market needs.

• Main objective of this role is to enable the delivery of productivity through understanding of local market needs and allignment with local stakeholders and provide Control environment in P2P process
• Lead local tactical procurement operations for Manisa, Suadiye and Tarsus plants(Snacks plants responsibility)
• Execute standardized tactical buying processes, use of appropriate tactical buy tools and negotiations.
• Identify potential vendors and obtain quotes as needed according to the company’s policy.
• Achieve targets and maintain the appropriate control environment to secure quality and service standards.
• Use tactical buy system (myBUY) to process requests and to increase adoption.
• Support to deliver on Continuous Improvement agenda and myBUY automation target.
• Mybuy Key User and Support all stakeholders in working with the myBUY (tactical buy system) tool and P2P process with trainings and related communication & feedbacks.
• Responsible of all Indirect Procurement Categories including MAKE , IT&PS, MOVE and CAPEX
• Performing Quality check, Compliance check for all PRs (Purchase Requisitions) in scope according to PepsiCo Policies and Procedures
• Performing Tactical Buy (TB) process: Quotation – Negotiation – Tender summary – Savings calculation
• Ensure all requisitions are initiated according to Procurement and Mybuy procedure ( Compliance to Procurement policy )
• Monitor Supplier performance, developing initiatives to drive down cost, improving competitive advantage, comparing/benchmarking Supplier costs according to other plants and developing leveraging options across plants/ functions.
• Manage and develop project procurement timeline and co-ordinate cross functional resources, and be key gate-keeper in all the critical Purchasing tasks to ensure on-time launch plan.
• Help to identify opportunities to automate business processes
• Processing and Approving PRs which have successfully passed the Quality Check (QC) and are eligible for TB
• Lead trainings and sessions for Functions’ users

• University graduate (related Business/Engineering degree)
• At least 3-4 years of Purchasing experience
• Procurement and analytical background
• Good interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships with suppliers / stakeholders on a regular basis)
• ERP (SAP / ARIBA) experience
• Good IT (procurement) skills. PC (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication/negotiation skills.
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Good English level
• Able to travel to market locations
